What I Do
I specialize in drywall installation, repair, finishing, soundproofing systems, and interior painting that needs to look right and last.
Most of my work comes from homeowners who care about clean results, clear communication, and a job done the way it should be.
How I Work
I approach every project the same way I would if it were my own place.
That means taking the time to do it right, keeping things clean while I work, and making sure the final result looks seamless.
For soundproofing projects, I focus on real solutions that actually stop sound from traveling, not quick fixes that only reduce echo.
If something is simple, I’ll just point you in the right direction.
If it’s a larger project or something you’re planning, I’ll walk you through exactly what it takes and what the next step looks like.

Experience
I started my four-year apprenticeship in 2003 as a drywall installer and finisher and quickly realized I loved the work.
In 2009, I started my first company. Over the past 16 years, that has grown into Backcountry Drywall + Paint.
Outside of Work
I was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and raised in Whitehall, Montana.
These days I spend most of my time raising my three kids, getting outside, volunteering on local trails, and staying active.
